How many of us would rather workout doors rather than sitting in a desk, in an office starring at the same walls day after day? Just think about it... If you were to have a career the required you to be outside all day the great outdoors would be your office. This is the type of job that is extremely appealing to me.
Today I researched jobs that have to do with nature. I fill like I may be interested in being either a Park Ranger or a Conservation Scientist. I feel that I would enjoy doing these these jobs because i like nature and I like being out doors. I hope that during the course of the semester I can gain a better understanding of the type of jobs that are available to people who work in the great outdoors.
I began doing some research and came across several jobs that interested me on a website called tentree.com. I know that I want a job that is low stress and gives you a lot of free time. So once I began my search, I found several careers that have to do with nature.
This week I took the time to research what type of jobs don't require you to wear a suit and tie to work everyday, and the type of job that would allow me to not be stuck in an office building all day. One job that realy caught my eye was being a Conservation Scienctist.
Next week I plan to to take a deeper look into what a Conservation Scientist actually does, this will help me to know if this would be a good career fit for me.
A good start.
