Conservation Scientist What do they do?

I looked at several websites to find out what a Conservation Scientist actually does. The best answer I found was on a website called bls.gov. This website stated that the main jobs that a Conservation Scientist performs is to manage and oversee the over all land and quality of Parks, Forests, Rangelands and all other natural sources. A Conservation Scientist has many responsibilities ranging from things like making sure that foresty and conservation activities are in compliance with government rules, helping to come up with plans for managing forest land and natural resources, they have to supervise the work of other forestry and conservation workers, helping to prevent forest fires as well as helping in putting out forest fires. They are also  responsible for finding new locations and sites for new tress to be planted, and for negotiating terms for land use contracts. They evaluate soil samples and test tress for damage caused by fires and logging in surrounding areas. They work in all kinds of weather to keep the forests growing safe and clean.
Next week for my blog I will research what type of degree I would have to have to become a Conservation Scientist, and research colleges that would be best for me to go to to get my degree.

  1. It looks like this research is starting to pay off for you and that Conservation Science seems like an option.

Try to use paragraphs to better organize your work, separating your evidence from your introduction, for example.

You need at least one more person to be following your learning and commenting upon this blog.
